Dear Parent or Guardian,

Thank you for considering Provo Canyon School as a potential option for your child. I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to explore the possibility of residential treatment for your child. As a parent myself, I understand that this is not a decision any family arrives at easily. We all seek to ensure our children have every opportunity to be safe, happy and successful as they journey through life. When they are struggling, fearful, sad or dealing with overwhelming challenges, we feel the pain and struggle they experience. You may be navigating fear, uncertainty or exhaustion — and I want you to know that you are not facing this alone.

At Provo Canyon School, our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, evidence‑based care that helps young people rediscover safety, stability, confidence and hope. Every decision we make — from clinical programming to staff training to campus design — is centered on supporting your child’s healing while honoring the trust you place in us.

Your child’s treatment is built around an individualized plan created by licensed, experienced clinicians who specialize in working with adolescents and families. Our team uses research‑supported therapeutic approaches, maintains 24/7 supervision and delivers care in a trauma‑informed environment designed to meet each student where they are.

We also believe deeply in the power of family involvement. Healing happens more fully and more sustainably when parents have the tools, connection and support they need. You can expect regular communication, family therapy, opportunities to participate in your child’s progress and access to resources that help strengthen your entire family system.

While we can never predict the exact path of any child’s journey, I can tell you this with confidence: healing is possible, and many young people leave our program with a renewed sense of purpose, resilience and connection. It is an honor for us to walk alongside each family during such a meaningful chapter in their lives.
